Read Normal 1 minute Regarding the closed access of journalists to Papua, Puspen TNI (Indonesian Military Information Center) asked questions from the Minister of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.

http://tirto.id -Puspen TNI (Indonesian Military Information Center), Marine Colonel (KH) Edys Riyanto said that the government did implement a number of provisions for journalists who wanted to cover Papua.

He conveyed this regarding the complaints of journalists who found it difficult to get access when they wanted to cover in Papua.

"This is not an authority with the TNI, if this is related to the TNI, Papua there are indeed provisions that are regulated by the government itself," Edys said during a discussion in Cikini, Central Jakarta, on Friday (05/03/2019).

Nevertheless, Edys could not speak further regarding the reasons for Papua's closure for journalists. He threw the problem to the Indonesian Ministry of Home Affairs or the government that did arrange the regulation. "If the coverage is in Jakarta, everyone can indeed enter," he added.

This problem was complained of by the Chairman of the Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI), Abdul Manan.

He admitted that it was indeed still difficult for a number of journalists to access information related to Papua, so that there were many problems and information about Papua, which did not reach the public.

Or the problem of Papua is that most people don't know it publicly, because journalists have difficulties in covering the news in Papua.

"In practice, the source sought is the easiest source to call, namely the security apparatus," Abdul said in a discussion in the Central Jakarta area, in February 2019.

With this condition, the only access that provides information is law enforcement officers or the Indonesian Police and Military Leaders in Papua, he said.

While Papuan civilians are rarely news sources. Papuan Information is Only the Perspective of the Indonesian Security Apparatus, and a number of these issues have finally only provided information from the perspective of the Indonesian Military and Police apparatus, and ignored other versions of the perspective.

"This issue of access ultimately affects the media, and ultimately affects the public," Abdul said.

In addition, national media based in Jakarta rarely send reporters to Papua because logistics that are not cheap and access to information in Papua is very difficult.
"In my opinion, there are some serious problems faced," Abdul said.

This issue was also acknowledged by the Editor in Chief of Cenderawasih Pos, Lucky Ireeuw. According to him, not all regions in Papua can be accessed by journalists because they are guarded by security forces, one of which is the area in Nduga Regency, Papua Province.

"Journalists cannot access to the Ndugama region, only get a single speaker," Lucky said in a discussion in the Central Jakarta area, on Thursday (2/14/2019).

Because the narrative about Papua comes only from the Indonesian security apparatus, namely by the police and military, he said.

Then the problems in the region cannot be fully known by the wider community, both in Indonesia and the International Community.

Another problem is when reporters try to interview other parties, such as the House of Representatives (DPR), or heads of agencies, and so on.
And also a number of people interviewed were even called by the police. "This is what happened today in Papua," Lucky said.

Papua does have provisions regulated by the Indonesian government itself, "Edys said.

What has been proclaimed by the journalist Fadiyah Alaidrus in the media http://tirto.id from Jakarta is the reality that happened in Papua, during the illegal occupation of the Indonesian colonial government in Papua.

Remember that journalists from various media in Indonesia have difficulties in reporting news in Papua, what is more difficult for foreign media reporters to get permission to cover by the Colonial Government of the Republic of Indonesia.

From the perspective of the Indonesian Colonial Government, it is clear that they have and are doing a lot of Human Rights Violations in Papua against to indigenous Papuan.

With the basis of the crimes that have been and are being carried out by the Indonesian Military and Police Forces in Papua, then the Governments of the Member States of the United Nations must urge Indonesia with conditional sanctions.

Why? Because the Colonial Government of the Republic of Indonesia through the Military Forces and the Police had carried out Genocide actions in Papua against the Papuan Natives.

This news is very important and interesting, because all the time, access for all journalists from various media has had difficulties in covering coverage in Papua.

Therefore this news is a reference material and analysis for all people to find out about the real situation of Papua, which has been and is a structured ban on all journalists by the Colonial Republic of Indonesia Government.

There is no freedom for all journalists from various media in Indonesia and also International Media from all parts of the Earth planet.

By looking at this condition, we indigenous Papuans ask the United Nations for Humanitarian Interventions to be carried out, in order to save the Papuans from extinction.
